This is a unique Art Deco gold box from the 1920s depicting a Chinese woodworker in a forest, carved in green jadeite, surrounded by rectangular cut sapphires and rose cut diamonds, set in 18k yellow gold. The box opens with a patented mystery mechanism. Numbered with maker's marks.
