The Duchess of Castro Ancona tiara. The Ancona was made in 1817 for Princess Maria Anna of Saxony on the occasion of her wedding to the Grand Duke of Tuscany t Castle Pillnitz near Dresden. The chased gold and pearl base supporting a graduated row of trefoil motifs set with pear-and cushion-shaped diamonds, each decorated at the top with a large pear-shaped pearl capped with rose diamonds and alternating with similarly set floral motif.Londonderry Amethyst
Londonderry Amethyst Tiara made with Amethysts presented to the Marchioness of Londonderry by Tsar Alexandar I in 1821. Russian amethysts are considered the finest in the world. The tiara was designed by E. Wolff & Co. in 1916.
