An early 20th century star sapphire and diamond ring, American. Set with an oval high domed cabochon-cut six-ray star sapphire, the setting formed as a frame of circular-cut diamonds, between similarly-cut diamond-set shoulders with shield and trapeze-cut diamond accents, to a plain hoop, size N, stamped '10% IRID', the sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 28.00cts, the diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.50cts in total
