An Important Art Nouveau enamel and gem-set necklace, by Philippe Wolfers - Of stylized peacock design, finely sculpted and decorated with light blue plique-a-jour enamel, diamond-set head feathers, diamond-set and enamel scroll detail centring a rectangular mix-cut chrysoberyl suspended by a sapphire, an old-cut diamond and an opal drop. The gold detachable necklace with oval links attached to the pendant and set at the terminals with two step-cut sapphires. Circa 1902.
