Catalan Art Deco: Gold, Blue Spinel, Diamond, Pearl and Enamel Brooch. A highly decorative gold brooch, from the Noucentismo period. An emerald cut blue spinel at its center surrounded by old mine cut diamonds and pearls. Layered and textured matte gold leaves which fan out from the center and decorated in parts with red, green and pink enamel. Polished gold petals are also accentuated with pale pink and black enamel.
