An art deco aquamarine and diamond brooch, by Cartier, circa 1925 The rectangular cut-cornered aquamarine, flanked by crenellated shield-shaped motifs, within an openwork figure-of-eight border of pierced Greek Key decoration, pavé-set throughout with old brilliant-cut diamonds and embellished with rhomb and triangular-shaped aquamarines, diamonds approximately 9.70 carats total, principal aquamarine approximately 32.50 carats, signed Cartier Ltd London.
