Art Noveau
This thoroughly enchanting and consummate Art Nouveau necklace from the early 1900s features four bright shimmering natural freshwater pearls, the largest of which is embraced by an artfully sculpted foliate motif rendered in acid-finished yellow gold. The pendant portion of this sublime Art Nouveau jewel measures just a tad shy of 3 inches long by 1 1/4 inch wide. The original silver gilt chain measures 22 inches-plus. The back is engraved 'EJM June 7, 1910' Artist unknown.
