The black enamel case applied with a carved jadeite plaque, accented with cabochon amethyst and millegrain-set with rose-cut diamonds, to a similarly set thumb piece, opening to reveal a single compartment, mounted in gold, measurements approximately 44mm x28mm x8mm, signed Van Cleef Arpels Paris and numbered, maker's marks and French assay marks.
